Position Summary :
Under direct supervision of the Field Manager, this position maintains and operates all instruments and measuring devices needed to complete different types of land survey work assignments.
Responsibilities also include resolving problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
6 : 50 am to 3 : 20 pm Monday Friday.
This is a full-time position with a non-exempt (hourly) classification, with overtime paid for more than 40 hours worked in one week.

While performing the duties of this position, the Employee is regularly required to make continuous or repetitive hand-arm movement to send signals to a survey crew and remain in a standing position for extended periods of time.
May be required to move objects less than 20 pounds long distances (20 feet or more). May be required to move objects 20-60 pounds short distances (less than feet).
May be exposed to extreme weather conditions, outdoor elements and dust and potential physical harm. Verbal and written communication is required.
Additional Requirements : May require the use of personal or company vehicles on company business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
Use of a personal vehicle for company business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a company vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.
Acceptable Experience and Training :
Education :
High School diploma or vocational / technical training preferred.
Years of experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
